"This collection has roots in a 2009 art installation by ASL titled ‘Skin and Bones’,
made from sewn triangular mirrors resembling reptilian scales.
Used as a metaphor for change,
each piece uses layers of texture to embody re-birth and
the promise of growth and metamorphosis."
